Nashville, TN - MOLLY PARTON!

I love Nashville and have been several times with my most recent trip being this last January! Keep reading to see where I stayed, ate, drank and enjoyed life in Nashville!

We stayed at Dolly Parton’s hotel, the Graduate. It’s not on broadway but a quick $6 uber ride to broadway. We actually decided to book through Priceline for the cheapest price, however, if you book through the graduate hotels’ website, they have a code for $100 off and some goodies. We got there early (like 10 AM) and even though we didn’t have early check in, they let us go to our room right then! traveling a lot, I know this is not too common! it was much appreciated and there are Lots of photo opps here too!

free coffee is offered to all hotel guests at the hotel at Poindexter coffee in the lobby. a huge plus for me because I could use a free black coffee all day, every day.

There is more than just free coffee and nice beds at this hotel. They also entertain! For fun one night, we went to Cross-Eyed Critters Watering Hole where you can sing karaoke with animatronics on stage. This is hidden in the middle of the hotel! It was A LOT of fun! The karaoke was a blast and there were actually some pretty good singers that got up there! The hosts were also very entertaining and incredible singers!

Their rooftop bar and restaurant was right up my alley! the White Limozeen is where we had brunch saturday morning. We went around 10am (Go early, make sure to make reservations) and took some great pictures dressed as Dolly right when we first got there (hence it wasn’t crowded and no one was in the background of our photos;). The White Limozeen has a delicious brunch and a great atmosphere as well as pretty, pretty cocktails!

Molly’s “Must Try” Restaurants and Eateries!

Our first stop friday after checking in to the hotel was a quick uber ride over to 12 South . We went in the morning/early afternoon. This is a really, really neat area with lots of color, murals to take pictures with and cute shops. We shopped around at the local Nashville boutiques including the famous Reese witherspoon store, Draper James, and some other unique and locally owned stores.

Breakfast and Brunch

While we waited for our table to be ready at the Frothy Monkey We stopped in Five Daughters Bakery to pregame brunch with some donuts😝 ..the most delicious donuts might i add..a must try if you’re go to 12 south.

One of the best brunch places we went to was Frothy Monkey. Frothy Monkey serves coffee and brunch. It was really good!! I had the sangria and it had champagne mixed in! YUM!! highly recommend it! Frothy Monkey is inexpensive with strong drinks! Say no more, right!?

Dinner

On Friday night, We ate at The Hampton Social. It was such a cool vibe and atmosphere. You can eat there during the day or at night and it’s a fun atmosphere to enjoy with a group or significant other. They are most known for their popular cocktail, “froze”, (Frozen rose). Sometimes you can get lucky and catch great live music there. They also have a rooftop area you can eat and drink at while overlooking downtown. Make sure to make a reservation for dinner time.

On saturday night, We ate at The Twelve Thirty Club which is owned by Justin Timberlake and was really good. It is a nicer place to go have dinner. They have different areas to eat within the restaurant, like a “supper club”, a rooftop bar or the honky tonk bar. We made a reservation to eat downstairs and enjoyed the live music and great service.

Molly’s Top Three Hole-In-The-Wall Bars on Broadway

We hopped around Broadway on Saturday. My favorite places are the hole-in-the-wall spots that are small! These typically don’t have lines to get in either;) We found a ton! There were GREAT bands in all of them that play cover music and a lot of my favorite- 90s country. The best, right? You can’t beat 90’s country!

Whiskey Bent Saloon. I loved the authentic country bar “honky tonk” feel. The live music is obviously great everywhere in Nashville, but it was a great experience for me the day we went! If you are a whiskey lover, it’s the place to go! Grab a crown and diet and think of me😁

The Second Fiddle . There are antique radios and a ton of music memorabilia all around. It doesn’t have a cover charge and we were able to get a table right in front of the band playing. the best part about the small bars too is you’re never too far from the bar.🤪

And of course, World Famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. You HAVE to check it out while you’re there! They started in 1960 and have hosted famous, famous country stars! There are tons of photos and other memorabilia all along the walls. i always love the crowd in there too. SEems like a lot of people having fun and singing along with the band. IN MY OPINION, BEERS IN NASHVILLE IN GENERAL ARE EXPENSIVE ($9 BOTTLE😳). I CAN DRINK A LOT OF BEER🤪 SO I SWITCHED IT UP THAT WEEKEND DRINKING WHISKEY, WINE AND OTHER FUN DRINKS I HAD WANTED TO TRY.

We took free line dancing class at Wild Horse Saloon. It was really fun and surprisingly a lot of people. People of ALL ages! We didn’t have to make a reservation, we just showed up! They offer free classes several times a day. Even though I’ve done line dancing before, and even taught it a bit in my PE class, this was WAY more fun as it was the real deal!! It was such a fun Nashville experience.

That’s all for now! I’ve got places to go, things to do, & pictures to take! Thanks for reading and following along!
