Scottsdale, AZ - The Place(s) to Be!

Scottsdale, AZ

I traveled to Scottsdale for one of my best friend’s bachelorette party! On top of having great company, we stayed in the cutest AIRBNB, ate the most delicious food, and enjoyed all Scottsdale had to offer including hiking and nightlife! I had such an incredible time, I had to share my insights so others can enjoy too!

Location, Location, Location!

We stayed in the cutest Air BNB, The Pink Cactus! The Pink Cactus is located in Scottsdale. It has a ton of excellent reviews and was big enough for our group! It’s a very popular place, so make sure you book it with plenty of time in advance! It’s only about 15-20 minutes from the airport and not even 10 minutes to old town Scottsdale, so that was also a huge bonus!

I loved the detail throughout the house. Also, hello, it’s PINK!! My favorite! It was the perfect house to host a bachelorette party and would be fun for any girls trip. There are four nice sized bedrooms and 3 baths. Having the 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group of girls!

The Pink Cactus

You know me! I LOVE pink! The Pink Cactus had the cutest covered porch next to the pool!

Pink-a-licious Porch!

Since we were there for a bachelorette party, we decorated the Bride to be’s bedroom! It was so fun! Since everything was already pink, we just got “BRIDE” balloons, and made some fans featuring her finance’s face!

Each room was decorated so cute already, we just wanted to make the Bride’s room more unique!

The weather was absolutely amazing! We spent most of our time outside and enjoying the pool view. We paid an extra fee for the pool to be heated (since it’s January and a little cooler this time of year) but it was well worth it because we actually got in it and were able to use it! The aforementioned porch was shaded enough to still enjoy the warmth and conversations with people in the pool but stay out of the sun if you wish! I’m always trying to be in the sun as much as possible. 🤪

The details in the house are perfect for photo ops. You know I love a good photo op! The “Scottsdale” graffiti on the wall by the pool made for a unique background that we all took advantage of.

What To Do In Scottsdale

Hiking!

We went hiking at Papago Park. It was only about a 7 minute drive form our Air BNB. All Uber rides were around $7-10 to go everywhere for both the Uber X and XLS!!

We chose our hike because it was close and since none of us are avid hikers, we picked a simple trail at a park we found on google! It was the perfect experience to get us going Friday morning..It was more like a walk with great scenery! I loved that you don’t really sweat in Arizona either because there is no humidity. 😝

Hire Cabana Boys!

We hired Cabana Boys Scottsdale to come to The Pink Cactus. Talk about a memorable experience! They were SO FUN! This was a surprise for the bride. They popped champagne, played music, and hosted fun pool games. It was a fun experience and kept our day at the pool pretty entertaining..to say the least.🤪

Molly’s Must Try" Restaurants!

One of the best parts of vacationing is enjoying the local eateries!! I LOVE to eat!

Wine Girl was my favorite! I mean, they have WINE ON TAP! Need I say more? We lucked out and got a table by walking in but I would recommend making reservations online so you can be sure to get a spot. It is a super cute place with lots of cute photo opportunities and they even sell cute apparel and accessories. I wanted one of everything..including the wine😉

Hand Cut was a phenomenal steakhouse and had really good and cool cocktails. I mean, look at the size of my side of potatoes! I ate all of them, by the way 😂 They did a really cute celebration for the bride as well!

We did a happy hour and watched the sunset at Outrider Rooftop Lounge. They do not take reservations for the rooftop lounge. It was a first-come-first-serve type deal. We got lucky and got seated for a beautiful sunset. If you decide to stay past sunset, make sure you know their kitchen closes at 9pm. We had a great time just enjoying the craft cocktails and local beer! The view did not disappoint!

Four Peaks is a local brewing company in Tempe, Arizona. It was a short drive from our AirBnb. They offer tours every Saturday. If you like drinking local, Four Peaks is a must try!

Patties Dive Bar in Old Town!

Last, but not least, my group of friends’ favorite type of bar- a hole-in-the-wall dive bar! We went to Pattie’s Pub! I love these types of places. We meant to stop in for just a drink and then on to the next place but they cranked the music up halfway through our first drink and we ended up staying the whole night.🥳
